We are a free range, family farm in Sisters, OR. Our farm has high quality NPIP certified chickens, ducks & game birds as well as baby chicks, ducklings and hatching eggs for sale. We build custom chicken coops & runs for your new or existing flock. We are also now selling our fresh duck and chicken eggs at Schoolhouse Grocery in Redmond, OR.

Here at The Everything Farm, our Livestock & Birds are healthy, well cared for and NPIP (National Poultry Improvement Program) Certified.

what is npip and why is it important?

As described by the US Department of Agriculture, "The NPIP is a voluntary State–Federal cooperative testing and certification program for poultry breeding flocks, baby chicks, poults, hatching eggs, hatcheries, and dealers."

The program tests and monitors flocks and hatcheries for the following serious diseases...

Salmonella Pullorum
Salmonella Gallinarum
Salmonella Enteritidis
Mycoplasma Gallisepticum
Mycoplasma Synoviae
Mycoplasma Meleagridis

How does an Independent Farm or Hatchery get NPIP Certified?

Independent Farms & Hatcheries are required to have their flock tested for the diseases included in their certification. If a flock or hatchery has less than 300 birds, every individual bird will be blood tested and have an oral swab to ensure their flock is clean and free of these diseases prior to receiving certification.

It is also required for flocks & hatcheries to undergo a complete facilities and equipment inspection before awarding NPIP certification. These inspections ensure that the flock or hatchery has the proper equipment and procedures in place to ensure the continued health of their flock. Annual re-testing is required to maintain NPIP certification.

It is important to always purchase through an NPIP independent farm, dealer or hatchery to ensure your flock is free of and protected from these poultry diseases.

Poultry Sales Policies

All chicks up to 6 months of age are non sexed and sold as straight run. We do not guarantee hens. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.

Our breeding stock are high quality, healthy, Avian Influenza, CAE/CL and Johne's free. We cannot guarantee Live birds 24 hours after they leave our farm.

Call or email for current availability of chicks and adult birds. We do take reservations for day old to one week old chicks up to six months in advance. We hatch chicks all year. We do not reserve or hold chicks older than one week old. We do have older chicks/juvenile and adult chickens available on a first come first serve , please call/text or email for current availability.
